Linda Brunelle

Artist Statement:

     I am a self-taught artist and my style of painting is contemporary and abstract.  I love to work with multiple mediums, and I love to explore and seek new techniques.  I get so excited learning new techniques and trying different styles of art.  My desire is to always be changing or combining mediums.  My interests include acrylics, watercolors, oils, cold and hot wax, fluid painting, resin work, along with photography and woodworking.

     I am very thankful for my mother, also an artist, who passed on to me the passion for art.  My gratitude was seeing her smile when looking at my finished pieces.

     The outdoors inspires me to take time and appreciate the pallet and canvas that was given to us.  Nature is such a precious gift and a broad spectrum of artistic views.  I love to watch the flow of colors and the way it makes me feel.  Vermont has been my home for the past 22 years.  When I go outside in this beautiful state, I see art in everything.
